Josh's Story
I became a celebrant in 2009 after witnessing too many boring, impersonal ceremonies. I believe your marriage ceremony should be the best part of your wedding day—not something to endure, but something to cherish.
From Boring to Brilliant Ceremonies
My journey began when I realized most wedding ceremonies were focused on the past instead of the future. I trained in a Christian ministry college but chose to become a civil celebrant so I could marry everyone, creating ceremonies that celebrate where couples are going, not just where they've been.

No Scripts, Just Genuine Moments
I don't read from books or iPads. After getting to know you through conversations (not surveys), I create ceremonies that feel natural and authentic. Your guests will experience a ceremony that's as unique as your relationship.

My Vision
What I Stand For
I believe in marriages that matter. My ceremonies focus on your future together, not just retelling how you met (which your guests already know).
How I Do It
Through genuine conversations, professional sound equipment, and an unscripted approach that keeps everyone engaged. I'm the celebrant for couples who value authenticity over tradition.
My Mission
What Drives Me?
To create forward-facing ceremonies that celebrate your marriage, not just your wedding. I believe the ceremony should be about 18 minutes long—enough time to feel significant but not so long that people lose interest.
