Are Wedding Awards Really Worth It? Here’s What I Think

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the value we place on wedding industry awards—and whether they’re actually helping us become better celebrants, or just distracting us from the real work. So, I wrote a piece over on my other site exploring that idea.
If you’ve ever felt the pressure to enter awards, chase trophies, or just wonder whether you’re missing out by not doing so, I reckon it’s worth a read. I don’t think awards are inherently bad—but I do think we give them too much weight, especially when the best feedback we could ever receive is a couple who are genuinely thrilled they chose us.
